Points System

1.0 Main Feature Point distribution:

1^st – 75	6^th - 64	11^th- 55	16^th – 50
2^nd – 72	7^th - 62	12^th- 54	17^th – 49
3^rd – 70	8^th - 60	13^th – 53	18^th – 48
4^th – 68	9^th - 58	14^th – 52	19^th – 47
5^th – 66	10^th - 56	15^th – 51	20^th - 46

1.1 Drivers not in A main feature, where a B or multiple B Features are run, will receive Finish Points starting with first non-qualifying car will earn one less than the last qualifying car. There will be a one point drop per position to a minimum of 35 finish points.

1.2 Drivers that compete in a heat race but do not transfer or race in a B feature will earn 25 finish points.

1.3 Drivers have an option to race in one event without joining Michigan Dirt Cup. However, racers who are not members of Michigan Dirt Cup will receive points for the event but will not be eligible for bonus money or contingency awards presented at each race. All drivers must be members to race in the

championship race.

2.0 Season Points

2.1 Season points is the total summation of a drivers points earned during the tour.

3.0 Distribution of Point Funds

3.1 A driver must have raced in a minimum of 5 Michigan Dirt Cup races to be eligible for Points Funds distribution.

3.2 The tour will distribute the Drivers Point Fund to each eligible; Member driver according to the posted awards.

3.3 All ties will be broken by using the greatest number of 1^stplace finishes during the tour. If a tie still exists, the number of 2nd, 3rd, etc. will be used in the same manner, until the tie is broken.

3.4 Eligibility to participate in the point fund may be forfeited by any Member violating UMP DIRTcar Rules.
